Youth Football Development Programme

The Jockey Club Youth Football Development Programme is funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust as a Major Partner, organised by the Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA), and subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). It is the largest youth football development programme in town, and aims to enhance the interest of playing football and cultivating sportsmanship of Hong Kong youngsters.

Phased System Launch Arrangement

To ensure a smooth transition and provide ample time for users to familiarize themselves with our new system, a phased launch arrangement has been established:

  • June 6th (Friday) 11:00 AM: The new system will officially launch. Users will be able to browse all summer program courses, explore the new system's features, view course information, and add desired courses to their favorites list.
  • June 9th (Monday) 11:00 AM: The system will begin accepting course payments.

We encourage all users to take advantage of this initial phase to comfortably experience and familiarize themselves with the new system's operations. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we welcome this system upgrade together.

The HKFA Grassroots Department announced today (June 3) that to enhance service quality, the GRASSROOTS.HK registration system will be temporarily suspended for equipment upgrades from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily, from June 3 (TUE) to June 8 (SUN). Registered users of GRASSROOTS.HK who need to use the system on these dates are advised to make arrangements in advance and use the system before or after the suspension periods.

The HKFA Grassroots Department announced today (May 29) that the new registration and information system, GRASSROOTS.HK, will be officially launched in June. The existing "HKFA Grassroots Football" system will cease operation after the current programmes conclude. The HKFA reminds the public that all individuals must pre-register and complete verification to use the new system for activity registration.

The HKFA Grassroots Department announced today (May 25) that the new registration and information system, GRASSROOTS.HK, will be officially launched in June, gradually replacing the existing "HKFA Grassroots Football" system. From May to June, data migration, report verification, online data validation, and review of all system equipment, including cybersecurity protection devices, will be conducted for both new and old systems to ensure the normal operation of the new system.
